Sustained Excellence is the highest honor bestowed by the ENERGY STAR program. BOMA Orange County recognized LBA Realty as the BOMA Philanthropic Company of the Year for volunteer time and financial contributions toward supporting organizations such as Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, Make a Wish Foundation and more. IREM Community Award of Excellence in Philanthropy
Award Description
The Community Award of Excellence recognizes an organization or individual who has made outstanding contributions to the community through their leadership roles and motivation of others in philanthropic efforts to support their community. LBA was selected for this award predominantly due to the successful sponsorship of a virtual food drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank. LBA is now the largest food drive sponsor in the history of this food bank, raising proceeds to support over 200,000 meals.

Principal Real Estate Investors, LBA’s joint venture partner, has recognized LBA with the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Cornerstone Award for their operational achievements at the premier office property, Park Place in Irvine, CA. The award recognized the property as being a top performer in property level performance, tenant and community engagement and incorporation of ENERGY STAR tools in property and sustainability programs. This award is part of the Pillars of Responsible Property Investing (PRPI) initiative, which was established by Principal in order to outline their commitment to incorporating environmental, social and governance issues into real estate investment practices.
Smart Energy Analytics Campaign – New Installation of FDD & Automated System Optimization
Award Description
LBA was a participant in the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Smart Energy Analytics Campaign to participate in collaboration and education opportunities to support both LBA, the DOE and campaign participants in adoption of energy management and information systems (EMIS). LBA was announced as the winner of the New Installation of an FDD System in Commercial Real Estate by the Smart Energy Analytics Campaign for the successful implementation of the Yardi Pulse program.
